Drupal, an open source content management system initially release on January 2011. According to Wikipedia more than 22,900 entrepreneurs use Drupal (as of August’13). Major competitors of Drupal are Joomla and WordPress, where Drupal provides a perfect interface to the users which require no deep programming skills. Everybody dislikes spam over the network, where developer uses the CAPTCHA to protect the things from spammers. CAPTCHA shall sort out the spam problem but in other hand “Mollom” gives you the better moderation services. “Mollom” only requires CAPTCHA if it thinks that particular user or IP submitting the spam content using form. So here I recommended use “Mollom” module to kick the spammers. Kudos!!

It doesn’t matter how cool and advance website you have developed when we talk about Backup. It is good if we have backed up our website or contents to avoid data lose. Drupal core tool doesn’t have capability to back up website and contents but we can do it by using “Backup and Migrate” module. So add it now and save your data!
Google Analytics module gives you an opportunity of track your full website and we can get all information of visitors including visitor location, referral site information, AdSense tracking, track page not found (404) and many more.
There are lots of modules available over the network, some are free and some are paid. Here I have mentioned some important modules for beginners through which he/she can improvise his/her Drupal website performance.
